Congrats to Joe Mauer

Peyton Manning
Well, I found out that neither Derek Jeter or Mark Teixeira won the MVP but, Joe Mauer did. To be honest, I was pulling for Derek since he's worked so hard on his defence, but I guess you can't win them all and I know that Derek will win one eventually. It's just a matter of time. I do have to admit that Joe Mauer is a great ballpayer and in a way he did derserve to get MVP, so a huge congradulations goes out to him. At least we still have a World Series win so that's always a good thing (well, not to Yankee haters, but that's their own opinion).

The AMAs had its moments. I was completely shocked that Alex Rodriguez was there so I basically squeed on my bed for 3 seconds. Way to give us a heads-up, Alex. You just show up in all your hotness and don't even give us a warning. We still love you anyway. It wasn't until the end of the show that I found the WTF moment. The whole Adam Lambert thing was REALLY random and at no point while he was performing did I think he was gonna make face time with the bass guitar dude or shove his crotch in his face. I got a good laugh out of it though. My parents who were watching it with me at the time were squicking out all over the place. Like they've NEVER seen 2 dudes making out =P

Sunday was pretty cool. While I was at the hospital,(Again. Who's Papelbon jersey do I have to wear to keep a family member out of the hospital?! I'm starting to feel like I live there!) I was able to watch the Giants game. Thank god they won. They could've eased up on the drama. I swear, I haven't felt that edgy about a game since baseball season. The Colts are still doing their thing, which is kick-ass. I seriously hope they continue their streaking. I'm not really a Jets fans, but what happened to them with the Patriots? Come on, Jets. You can do better than that. The Giants are playing on Thanksgiving day so I'm going to root for Eli and the G-men as they forgo their turkeys for victory.

Since a lot of people liked that picture of gnome!Pedroia in Derek's garden, and the idea is starting to stick to me, I'd figure I would get some opinions before I do anymore pictures on him.

Yeah I know it's been forever since I put a post on here, but September tends to make my life a living hell. Work was always hectic, which is NOT something on my things-to-discuss list, then my dad goes into the hopspital for problems he's having with his left foot, NOT MY FAVORITE MONTH and it doesn't leave me enough time to get any stories/pictures in. It's always something in September every year.

In other news, THE NEW YORK YANKEES HAVE CLINCHED THE A.L. EAST!!!!

This is now officially my favorite Derek/Alex moment. Hoping there will be more to come:

And we got the sweep! This totally made my day, and possibly my month. Good job, boys, but we gotta keep moving. We're not out of the woods yet. Keep up the good work.

Man, I can't wait 'til September ends. I really hate it because it seems like it just carries on forvever. I hate fall period T_T  Oh well....
Anyway, everything's great in Yankeeland. Now we're up 7.5 games! Keep the wins comin' Yanks! <3

Just for the heck of it, I kinda stole this from <lj user="iliveforsports" >

The first one involves Yankees and the second one doesn't. I'll do one on football later on.

Swisher; rock on!

Hey there, What's up? Yeah I know I haven't updated in a while. Been busy. Nothing new seems to be happening nor has anything caught my interest except the Bronx Beatdown!!!! I say it was about damn time my Yanks stopped the bleeding they've caused us. I'm havin' a party over here!( I know Red sox fans want to skip this so go past the video because it will piss you off and you might take it as gloating.) PARTY TIME!

But with all seriousness to the Red sox fans reading this, You guys played a helluva 4-game series and NO it was not easy to beat you. I started to get worried tonight after I saw Martinez get that 2-run. I'm pretty sure you'll get into the swing of things sooner than you think. In a way, now you feel our pain when we were 0-8 against you before this series. It really sucks not to win a game against your rivals. Much as I despise Beckett, He pitched his ass off on friday and Lester was not a day at the beach trying to get runs off of him.

So yeah, I'm happy (and amazed) that we swept you guys,(Hey, I'm a healthy Yankees fan, thank you very much) but I'm not gonna sit up and play the "Boston can go suck it because we swept them!" card. This was a tough loss. Yes, I hate ESPN, Varitek, hardcore sox fans, and Papelbon(Though I have way more respect for Varitek because he's actually a good captain). But as a team, I actually respect how you guys constantly get runs and your manager who has been nothing short of a gentleman. Quite frankly, I hate this rivalry between us due to the tension and hatred other fans on both sides have created. I just want my team to play & win without all this nonsense. It kinda gets tiring after a while. So, to you guys, good luck tomorrow. (yes, I know you're saying 'whatever' or 'fuck you' to this, but I mean it)

To the Yankee fans, *sigh* what can I say? This was awesome! =)  Oh, and I have some pictures for you.

Holy Shit......
Me & my family were watching the Yankees game & we were losing 8 to 7 with our last out, Jeter & Tex on first & second. Alex pops the ball up, & it's DROPPED. We won by 2 runs on a pop-up error.... I am SO estatic right now.........My throat hurts from screaming my ass off.......&, I'm speachless right now. All I can say is......Someone up in heaven must have LOVED Alex, the Yankees, & the fans to make that happen because we were lucky as hell....... just....................god-damn.......

Hey there. Just writing a little note to my team that's probably more like a steam-blowing rant. Red sox fans reading this might find a chance to get some smug smirks in or two. Or you might think it's childish, ignorant, or insulting to your fellow fans in your stadium. I'm just blowin' off steam. Not trying to be insulting even though it'll come off like that.Take it or leave it, I'll let you be the judge. Your opinion.

Dear Yankees,

I think I speak for every Yankee fan & myself when I say that the amount of success we've had so far this year is pretty impresssive, especially those huge walk-off wins. However the fact that you are 0 for 8   against the Red sox this year IS PURE, UNADULTERATED BULLSHIT.  What's goin' on Yankees? You guys had sucess over them during the spring training games, so why not now? For the pitchers starting or relieving, why the hell are you giving away hits like hot cakes to the sox & blowing the lead?! Contrary to what others may think, Starting pitchers mean EVERYTHING to a ball game!  It sets the tone on how the game is gonna wind up & even if the starting pitcher is good, no matter what he says Joe, don't leave him in there if he has a high pitch count like he had tonight. HE WILL GET TIRED & GIVE UP HITS. For the hitters, against the sox you

tie the games up & you let them score without rallying or at least not continuing the rally when one guy starts it for you, You get SHUT OUT by their ace who has a smile on his face the whole fucking time,& making costly errors, Quite frankly at this rate, I'm surprised that this shit didn't even happen yet:
http://pics.livejournal.com/indigo_blue72/pic/0000czpy/g3

They are OWNING you, or can't you see that? Of course not literally in that sense, (& I might be getting flack for this one aside from the fact that the picture looks kind of slashy) but you get what I mean. Come on, Yankees. We know you're better than this. I know you’re better than this. & you DEFINITELY know you're better than this. You can give 'em a good beat-down. I know ya' got it in yourselves somewhere. We've seen it before & god did it feel good knowing we could shut the fenway crowd up. So how about picking yourselves up, dusting off the Fenway dirt, holding your heads & spirits up high & giving the next group of teams you face hell. & please, the next time you face the Red sox, win ok?

                                                                  From,
                                                   A disappointed Yankees fan

Today, I was at the barbershop with some family members while watching the Yankees game on my phone, when I see this happen:

& may I just say , THANK YOU, ALEX!!!!  I knew you had it in ya'. Now if we can get a great winning streak goin' on & you to a multiple game hitting streak, that would be fabulous. I just love the yankee celebrations at home plate.

I didn't expect the Yankees to lose their home opener, but at least they won the 2nd game which is their 1st stadium victory. Thinking of more ideas for pictures since I'll pretty much draw whatever's being requested. I'm in the middle of drawing a Damon/Swisher pic as well as a Varitek/Beckett crack! pic, (Yes, you read that correctly. I as a yankee fan, ship the Red sox captain & pitching ace. How the OTP grew on me is a bloody wonder in itself.)  and a 2 part-er for Jeter/A-rod. Speaking of which, I'm hoping that Alex comes back before May 15th, but at the same time I don't want him to push himself too much. His progress is amazing. In the mean time, I'll waiting for the next game.

Wow. Can you believe that there's only 4 DAYS left till regular baseball season begins? & only 14 more days till the New yankee stadium opens up? I already saw the pictures of the finished result and when I saw it,  my heart just swelled up with awe and pride <3. I can't wait to go there in May. Only, I don't think a part of me would want to leave once the game is over. Man, It's gonna be hard for the yankees to leave the stadium when they go on road trips....I might even draw a picture on that.

Ugh, I really don't know why red soxs fans are still stuck on 2004 alcs including the world series and 2007. A couple of days ago, I argued with this guy who kept going on about that ,how hard the yankees suck & how it was stupid for me to like them . It was so hard for me not to tell him about himself. Now, don't get me wrong. I respect his opinion & anyone elses that they support the red soxs or any other team & that they don't like the yankees. You can't win them all. Hell, I don't even sling insults at them whenever their up at bat or boo them. But I'm not gonna sit there and say 'the red sox are pricks' and not really have a legitimate reason as to why I don't like them (though I probably have that problem with their captain. :P ) All I'm gonna say is 'well, that's your opinion and we'll agree to disagree.(It's really hard to say this to diehard fans that live in boston, though not everyone I've met from boston was rude.)
